Sushi making
Making WFPB (whole-food, plant-based) sushi with the kids. Substitute the white rice for brown rice and it’ll be 100% WFPB compliant. We are using white rice to compromise for the kids, but the rest is WFPB. We are not following a recipe, just using what we have around the house. Note: I am not a sushi expert; I just roll the sushi as tightly as possible and it works out. Experiment and enjoy the yumminess!

Sushi rice (mixed with rice vinegar & maple syrup)
Nori seaweed
Cilantro hummus (oil-free, we purchased from a grocery store)
Carrots, shredded
Tofu (cut into strips & air-fried with ketchup, Tamari sauce & dark soy sauce)
Sweet potato strips/fries (air-fried with a sauce of peanut butter, garlic granules, onion granules, black pepper, Bragg’s nutritional Yeast (for vitamin B12) & water)
Mushrooms, sliced & stir-fried
Avocado, sliced
Baby kale
Roasted sesame seeds
